Please do the following on your computer

Click Start > right click on My Computer > choose manage

On the left side of the Computer Management window that appears please click on Device Manager

On the left side please look for and exclamation marks or any other symbols next to the + or - signs.  If you see one next to the + sign, click on the + to expand it out.  Let us know if any of these items have this exclamation sign next to it and what exactly it is.

Just thought I'd let you know that I took my computer to someone who copied my hard drive, then wiped it clean. We're re-installing the operating system and starting over. (Hopefully it will solve whatever problems existed.)
