Do the update you will have a cleaner system /safer

Please remove ComboFix from your computer. There are no problems with the infections that were on your computer but it could be dangerous if you used it with a different infection.

the reason i couldnt update the things is that i cannot access the internet anymore. it says im connected but i cant do anything on the internet. before this whole virus thing i had internet on that computer working perfect. is there something else i should do?

Well, shoot, Ams. What are you doing? Where did Zone Alarm come from? It wasn't on your computer before. You now have two software firewalls on that computer. Windows OneCare Live has a firewall. Uninstall ZoneAlarm. And, if you cannot connect to the internet, why are you porting additional software to the computer?

Please note: you will have conflicts with more than ONE anti-virus software and ONE Software Firewall (better if behind a router).

I put on zone alarm because windows live once care shows that there is an error and that the firewall couldn't be installed. i managed to finally connect to the the internet. do i still have anymore problems or am i clean now?

also when my limewire tries to acces the internet a message comes up saying that a firewall program is blocking it from accessing the internet. or its due to loopback connections on the local machine. the firewall thing i dont understand. i dont have zone alarm active, windows firewall i allowed limewire, and for live once care there inst a firewall enabled. how can i fix this?

Hi, Ams. I don't know about Zone Alarm not being active because the service is still on your computer. However, since you had already elected to stay with Windows OneCare Live because it is a paid subscription, I would suggest that you make sure you have the license information handy, make sure you have the download file, disconnect from the internet, uninstall and then re-install Windows OneCare Live.

After you do that, let us know and I'll be happy to help you remove the ZA service.
