Ad-Aware Update SE1B100

 :D Hi Everyone :

     Got an email notification from Lavasoft of the release of "SE1B100 has been
     released today for beta testing" ; I have never seen such a Release. Beta
     usually means experimental and I usually avoid such "things". What is going
     on with this "Update" ?

You apparently signed up for the beta testing program at some point.  What has happened, apparently, is that they found an error in the SE1B100 and re-released it after correcting the error.  This was done, I am sure, in order to prevent problems to beta-tester's PC's and also so more testers would not need to report the error that was already discovered.

i got the same e-mail
i am on the normal e-mail update list !

so feeling brave i did do a "check for updates" and it found none so figure someone just hit the wrong buttons on the notification ( i seem to remember in the past they had that trouble with the mailings late,missing,wrong ;~D

Could be they were covering all bases too.  I would rather see overkill in a situation where an error was found than the reverse.

Well at least looks like SE1B100 BETA-2 that was released for beta testing has been released ,
see SE1R100 23.03.2006
