Hi Friends,
I don't know if this thread is meant to receive replies, or just for informational purposes. But thought I'd add a comment about my experience. After installing the newest version (free version), I kept having little freeze-ups, which were partly addressed in another thread, but not definitely diagnosed or resolved. But after watching the Task Manager closely, eventually noticed that ewido.exe was using 2, 4, 8% cpu, during every freeze. I posted in the Wilders' ewido forum, where it was concluded I don't have enough memory. However, as I said, I have several much, much larger programs which run without using any obvious cpu. The bottom line is that once I uninstalled the newest version, the little freeze-ups have stopped completely.
The reason for the cpu usage is far, far beyond my understanding. I just know that the previous version did not do this, and never caused me a problem...and neither has any other program I have! So just my
