1. When I try to use the "go back in time" function I just get a white square.
Need more info. I am guessing: Clicking on the "Back" button of your browser? Which browser? Using the Norton product:Go Back? Using System Restore?
3. Signing in to sites. Doesn´t recognize my correct password (s)
Cleaning your temporary files, cookies, saved form history, could cause you to have to
type them in again, but if the website is not
recognizing your password(s)...many of them? What message do you get from the website?
4. Asking after javascript at for example youtube. Tried to download new version of adobeflash, just got dirrected to the page before.
Older versions of Flash are security risks.
My suggestion would be to follow these instructions to download/use the Flash Uninstaller which removes the Flash Player from both your browsers. Please read the instructions thru to the end before running >

See if YouTube works now.
I RECKON THAT ALL HAS TO DO WITH MY HAPPY FINGERS IN THE TEMP FILES?
Not necessarily. The computer should re-create what ever files are needed if they were cleaned out. Some of the changes you are experiencing could be temporary "adjustments" while this takes place.
You had trouble getting CCleaner earlier in the thread. Maybe try ATF Cleaner (for XP & W2K only >
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/ This will remove all files from the items that are checked so if you have some cookies you'd like to save. please move them to a different directory first.
Save it to your Desktop.
* Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
* Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
* Click the Empty Selected button.
* Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
Since you use Firefox
* Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
* Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
By the way: I have both Explorer and Firefox. ow do I deleate explorer the best way? Add/deleate files?
Internet Explorer is tightly integrated into your Windows operating system. Why do you want to uninstall it?
