Okay, I restored the quarantine file, then ran another scan. But this time, I chose all non-cookie items to be removed. I rebooted, but still not able to connect through the home portal. I can't post the scan results because I can't get on the internet on the desktop, but the items removed during the 2nd scan were Cometsystems, Marketscore (Netsetter), Alexa and Broadcastpc.
In the article that you listed, it mentioned using the latest version, etc. to prevent this from happening. I just downloaded the software this afternoon and checked for updates before doing the first scan. Any more suggestions that might help? Thanks for responding!
