Why not try it on your Windows 7 laptop instead of XP?

I believe that's a network driver - do you have anything interesting software-wise monitoring network traffic?

A thread I saw at Kaspersky's forums also recommends using the remover, and doing that solved things. Not sure if that'll work here, but worth a try.

As an aside, I find my Surface 3 seems a little faster using this.

Having given it a run, didn't like the constant reports about Certificates.  I have gone back to MSE.

What certificate reports were you getting?

Site I use on a regular basis for instance Canon cameras ebay UK and so on.

It seems I was not alone, as others on the forum were reporting the same. There did not seem to be a common fix.

I quickly removed it for the same reason. I as well don't like a nag popup screen telling me to give my email address, to register.

It definitely doesn't play well with Certificates, email and web.

I've seen posts on other forums where people were disgusted with the popups to register and buy the paid version. They ended up removing it.

A popup occasionally to support something is okay but every time you turn on the computer. That would be too annoying to me. I don't keep the computers on 24 x 7. We shut down at then end of the day.

I guess they forgot to fix the certificate issue in the free version. Google and Google Mail were one of the certificates failing.
