Spyware BLASTER vs. Other Products

 :rose: does Spyware Blaster offer "REAL-TIME" protection like Spybot's TEA-TIMER?
can they be used together, and, if they're both REAL TIME and would conflict, is S Blaster a good choice between the two ?

As GR@PH;<'S noted, SpywareBlaster prevents the installation of ActiveX-based pests.  It will protect you from things in it's database by setting a "kill bit" that will block installation of their ActiveX objects.

Unlike real time monitors, SpywareBlaster does not need to remain open for its protection to be active.

So, it's not anything like TeaTimer ... rather, there is a similarity to SpyBot's immunize feature.

spyware blaster can run WITH Tea-Timer at the same time - no conflicts?
i'm having issues with T-Timer now; it NEVER shows me the ALLOW and DENY CHANGE option text on those buttons. i see the buttons, but what's written on them is BLANKED out.
is it advisable for me to run BOTH APS? ...
 :exorcize:  - i posted another thread about this... Since then, i've updated Adobe Reader, and i got ANOTHER TTscreen where i couldn't see which button said ALLOW change, and which said DENY.
 ** is this a SPYBOT BUG? (i'm running 1.4)
i'd thought ms defender had caused the problem...
 - is there a way for me to fix this, so i get to see what the buttons say?

You can run both without any conflicts, ;)

As to TeaTimer, I've never used it myself but you may find having a seperate registry 'watcher' easier. I personally, use RegProt:

Like I said in your other thread, "Allow Change" is on the far left and "Deny Change" is on the far right.  You can also type "A" or "D" as a workaround ... there is a known GUI issue with the display of these buttons.
