Just need to set IE down from paranoia-mode (it prompts about everything)
I've learned something about Internet Explorer in the process that may help others too! You can put sites in the Classified Zone - programs like Spybot S&D will automatically add bad sites to that list for you - but this doesnt block them! It merely gives them their own set of security parametres - so head in and set everything to PARANOIA
While being infected I havent really noticed any declines in performance but I've got enough horsepower for what I run I guess. I'm partly glad the hack was so obvious with the popups, because I definatly didnt discover when I got it.
