Can't sign in to gmail
« on: August 25, 2017, 02:36:00 PM »
I changed IP's and put a new email in gmail.
Now I can't find my old password. I need that to change my password. I went to help
and they gave me a code. That didn't seem to let me change my password without
knowing my old one. I can go to my gmal with just putting it in the browser.
Is their a way to chat or email g mail. I haven't seen any.

I don't know if I fully follow, but if you updated your recovery email address as it seems like you indicated, go to https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery and follow the recovery steps.  Hopefully that helps.

If you do not have a password manager, your browser frequently has the option of saving your passwords.  For example Chrome click on the three dots, settings, advanced settings, passwords and forms, manage passwords.  gmail is found under google so do a search for google, click on the line you require and show password, you will have to fill in your Windows password and it gives you your gmail password.

To be honest reading your post I do not know exactly what you have done.
