Attention Zone Alarm users

There have been many people reporting problems with the newest Zone Alarm update. This is from the Zone Alarm forum.

Zone Labs knows that some of our customers are having issues with the upgrade to ZoneAlarm 6.0, and is working hard to fix the situation.

The cause appears to be related to the upgrade process, not the application itself. Therefore, we recommend users experiencing difficulties uninstall any prior version of ZoneAlarm (v.2.x - v.5.x) residing on their computer system and do a clean installation of their new ZoneAlarm 6.0 product.

This is an update on the issue.  :D

version 6.0.667.000 had been released. This has fixed many of the bugs found in 6.0.631.003 and 6.0.631.002. Another version promising to fix the remaining problems is scheduled to be released soon. In fact, it is already out in beta.

I have abandonded ZA, because their issues with updates and upgrades.
I used to have the $$$-version and every time a new update was issued I held my breath ,hoping the computer would work afterwards.
 I had to uninstall the entire application at least twice, because the system wouldn´t work at all. And when it takes some time to configure ZA; allow and dissallow apps, open and close ports , etc etc, it´s nothing you choose to do too often.
