It seems like PCTools had worked a lot, trying to make the User Interface more friendly to a novice computer user.
Well, I still don't like the way to create advanced rules for your home network. It is difficult to set up the firewall to allow one ip-adress to acces the computers shares.
But there is Application protection, not on by default to the novice-user-setup, but it protects against code injections. I havn't tried it yet, but I'm planning to test it.
There is just one problem. It uses more CPU at the boot. When you have logged in, and you are viewing your deskopt, then it sunddenly just freezes the whole computer, and in Vista Sidebar, you can see that the CPU (Intel 2 Duo core 1,8 Ghz) is at 100%. The previous version didn't do that.
So I don't think that it is some software on my computer, there are slowing down. Just PCtools new firewall.
But it is a very user friendly firewall. Just notice that it is hard to configure how to make a home network with shared folders.
But the process it has does only use 3 mb ram. And then it have a service, but I havn't seen how much ram it is using.
If someone dosn't understand what I wrote, then just make a reply with the sentense. I wrote this post fast.
