Fantastic Contraption
« on: October 23, 2008, 03:07:33 PM »
I have become a little obsessed with this game Fantastic Contraption.  It is a physics puzzle solving kind of game that is easy to start but gets harder as you go. It give a very good little tutorial when you start the game.
Have fun!

R-C,
Very good but I thin I need more time with it as I only managed a couple of levels think my beer levels need a top up

GR@PH;<'S   :Hammys pint:
press Enter then have a Brandy then if the problem is still there have another Brandy
Q: does it work
A: It does seem to for a few hours at least.

I have made it through all the levels but it did take some time on some, some I just whizzed right through, the hardest one was over the bump. I did not save any of mine and now I kinda wish I had.

boy that is the truth you just do not want to admit you can't do it so you keep trying knowing  you will get for sure the next change.

One hint I had to create some with long scorpion like tails that when the center of gravity flipped on the contraption it flung that long tail out and into the goal box, but you have to put the boxy part of the contraption on or near that extension part because it is that boxy part that has to enter the goal area.

hahahaa yes I got 2 emails from him already!  I did warn you it was addicting LOL
But it gives the old brain some much needed exercise!
I only wish now I had saved each of my contraptions.

well I can't say since I never bothered to save any of mine LOL  but someone has emailed me a copy of their saved machine and I would assume once you go to it you can use it or alter it? good question.  You do have to register I think to do that part which is why I did not save mine.

for those that have joined in my addiction I have found a website discussing the contraption and in the comments area at the bottom, there are pages of them, people are posting links to their versions and some are to custom creations which you can do if you are so addicted that you pay for the full version,( I have not scummed yet!) Plus they give shortcuts.
