I do a lot of game playing in my spare time (on pc). For safety reasons, I've been trying to only play games OFFline, that I've downloaded and scanned for malware. But I'm having an increasingly harder time finding freeware games that I like that are available for downloading.
I don't know, maybe I should try one of those um....game station kind of things that the kids play (I don't have kids). But b4 I make such an expenditure, I have to wonder if there are any relatively safe game sites.
Up until now, I've avoided them, because I know they are fertile grounds for various malware purveyors. But in my quest for some new games, I wonder, if I have adequate and up-to-date security for my pc, and follow all best practices, are there maybe a few online game sites that can I feel relatively comfortable about?
If so can anyone recommend some relatively safe online game sites? Also, are there any dependable ways of identifying safe from not safe? Or at least indications of such, even if not clear cut signs?
