Google Chrome browser goes Gold

I am trying out Chrome, and I find it has improved greatly over Google's first offering of their browser some months back, but I have some security concerns, especially after reading an article such as this:

Perhaps I had better use it for general web browsing for now.

Any thoughts?

To be honest, I do not know what to believe any more...The following article indicates why... :hahaha:

It seems to me that every browser has strong points and also weaknesses. I like the simplicity and speed of Chrome so much....that I have made it my default browser...
I must admit, however, that I do not do much "sensitive" work on my computer.... :dance:

It seems that between these 2 articles, Chrome is OK to use as long as one is careful with the password manager:

"Chrome's password manager had revealed critical flaws in the tests. Hackers can easily obtain user passwords since the browser neither checks password request location nor password sent location. Also, form elements coded to be invisible can trigger password management. Users will have to rely on some other software, web service, or their memory to remember their passwords."

I'll avoid using Chrome for eBay, banking, PayPal, etc. for now.  :D

How about this report: "Firefox tops list of 12 most vulnerable apps"...it really makes one wonder what to do. I'm not surprised that some people still refuse to do any banking or purchase anything online.  :(
