Hallo there!    Can anyone tell me about this ERROR 732 code???? It seems that the MBAM forum themselves are  :smash:ing each other up trying to find the answers. Nothing seems to work to get rid of this error??? If you need more information on my machine, I'll gladly provide it. But it seems that it doesn't matter what you have.

Thanks to all who dare!!! Tease

Donna,

You may wish to try the following (I am not saying that it will resolve the problem but it gives you a sound foundation on which take this forward).

Go to "Control Panel | Add/Remove ..." and delete MBAM (if you have registered your copy make sure that you have a text file backup of the licence details).

Download and run the mbam clean-up utility, available at

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe

This will clean out any MBAM left overs. Once you have done that reboot the machine and re-install a fresh copy of MBAM (once done you can reload your licence from the backup, if applicable).

Topic was posted at MBAM forum to no avail. I am posting to update that my issue has been resolved. Hopefully my accomplishments will help others as well who have encountered this error.
I have conquered the MBAM ERROR 732.   What was I thinking that day....

Program HAS downloaded and updated.
Database successfully updated from version 2775 to version 2791 upon downloading.

Differences prior to this accomplishment may have been due to upgrading to a better internet connection. Previous provider downloaded at a speed of 21kbps!
Installed satelite provider on 9/12/09. Present download speed is 1118kbps.

All comments on my findings are more than welcome!

Thanks to all who took the time to help with this issue!

I just encountered this error 732 and it was caused by the proxy setting in the connections tab of Internet Explorer.  Normally the proxy setting is unchecked but I had a malware/ransomware called avsoft come in and one of the things it does is disables your ability to access the internet by enabling the proxy setting in IE.  I use firefox as my browser but Malwarebytes uses IE as its default browser to access the internet to update.  Once I unchecked the proxy box I was able to update Malwarebytes.  I hope this helps!
