hi all,
since i have moved to att im looking for a free web hosting site because im tired of moving my web page from site to site. no banner ads, no email, and no control panel but with 50 megs or more of space and i use filezilla for my ftp. i also would like password protected files?
i know several people here have there own site and are more experienced at this than i am so im asking for advice and maybe a link or 2 for a free no bs web hosting site.

Just a couple quick thoughts --

You probably already know about and have visited FreedomList, a forum for the discussion of free/cheap ISPs and related topics?  But just in case, it's here:

(I'm thinking since ISPs often offer hosting as well, you might get a lead on what you're looking for, there)

Also, I'm assuming the MSN Groups/Yahoo type of "websites"/groups/communities are inappropriate for your needs?  Or like geocities, tripod, etc.?
