If you want to use an IRC client, then you can to download a dedicated program. One such program is
mIRC 
. Once installed you will need to do the following.
A. Connect to LandzDown Forum IRC via mIRC:
- Under Category, click connect and fill in your details, i.e., Nickname, your name and E-Mail Address.
- Click the OK Tab.
- Now click on the Servers Tab click on the Add button.
- Fill in the following:
Description: LandzDown
IRC Server: irc.landzdown.com
Ports 6667
- Once you have done click OK Tab
- Next Under Category, click connect, then click the Connect Tab.
B. After the program starts you need to register Your Nickname / Password and your E-Mail Address. Doing this will register your Password and your E-Mail Address in the NickServ database.
- To Register: /msg nckserv register PASSWORD E-MAIL
(Replace PASSWORD with your chosen password and Replace E-MAIL with your chosen E-Mail address) - Under Category, click connect then click on the Perform Tab
- Where it says Perform commands type: /msg NickServ IDENTIFY PASSWORD /join #LandzDown.com
(Replace PASSWORD with the same password you used to register your nickname. - Click OK
- Now under Category, click connect Tab (On Right)
