Is LandZ a "Success"...?
« on: February 24, 2008, 08:08:38 AM »
hello.

i really love you guys- i've gotten so much help here, with computer stuff, love playing the games, etc etc.

outside of the lavasoft connection (i understand a bunch of the peeps here used to work there), LandZ's a bit of a mystery.

So... i was wondering - are things "okay"?

i don't know how you get funds to stay open and all that- i never see any "hidden" ads or anything.

you plan to stay open a while? all the behind-the-scenes stuff working out...?

* (if you ever closed... well, i break out in a cold sweat, just thinking about it.)

if you ever think about closing -- DON'T!

 :sinking:

* thanks, everybody, for all the help.

Small correction ... none of the administrators/moderators here ever worked for Lavasoft.  We were volunteers running their old support forum.  No compensation other than a free copy of the paid version.

We started this site because we all wanted to stay together when the old LS forum was closed down.  I should think that will continue.

Good question, but I did not know the answer, so I did some checking. Have a read here:

Nice to have a free site with no ads.

I, for one, plan to always keep this forum open. :)
Beta. Software undergoes beta testing shortly before it's released. Beta is Latin for 'still doesn't work.'
