What's Your Weather Doing?

Here in Indiana, we have temperatures above normal.  In the upper 80's, actually I think it is supposed to hit 91 today.  YUCK!  I hate the heat!  I can't wait to get to the cold north (sweden)

So what is the weather like in Sweden these days....I am not talking way up north.

Trying to figure out what to pack!  lol

At the moment I envy your 90 F in Indiana! 8)

Tomorrow Gothenburg will be a bit cloudy with some sun coming through the clouds and a degree of around 62 F (17 C).
Degrees somewhere around 55-60 F is probably what you can expect for the next 2-3 weeks.

Converting temperatures from Fahrenheit (F) to Celsius (C) will also be a new experience for you I guess?
One of many examples of a simple Fahrenheit to Celsius Converter I just found on the Internet.

Here are some more basics you have to learn :  :tease:

1 gallon = 3,785 liters

1 mile = 1609 meter = 1,609 kms

1 inch = 2,54 cm

1 foot = 30,48 cm

Yeah...I am sure I will remember that for about 2 SECONDS!  LOL

I HATED metrics when I was in school.  lol  I just couldn't get it!

My husband can translate metrics quickly in his head...so I am going to use him for that!  lol  AND buy one of those calculators that has a metric converter on it!  YES I AM going to cheat!  lol

Currency is gonna be another thing!  grrr

Now back to our weather....hehehe

I see that Hurricane Rita is up to a Cat 5 now!  They are expecting it to hit Galveston, and Houston.  They don't expect the levees to hold in Galveston.  They are evacuating Houston now.

San Antono who already has refugess from Katrina is gearing up and expecting more to take in from Rita.

Very sad!

I am sooo glad I don't live on the coast!

Well I will be living on the coast in Sweden...but that is different. ;)

It's 70 F here now, but humid.  It rained earlier today, sun's out now, but supposed to get some heavy storms today, bringing in the cold front.  High today will be around 89, but tomorrow they expect the high to be 75F  YAY....well actually that is still too hot!  lol  I like it around 60-70, maybe 72.  hehehe

Storms and rain for 4 days here.   

Poor ppl down in the gulf...texas particularly....with the hurricane....so I am not complaining about showers for 4 days straight.

Wow, we had some loud storms last night.

And the cold front moved in! YAY!  I am soo excited about that  :gwave:

I actually woke up in the middle of the night and had to get the blanket.  My sheet just wasn't enough.  (had the window open and the heavy duty fan blowing on me)

what a wet weekend!  Rained for 4 days as they expected.  Mostly from the effects of Hurricane Rita.

Today it was warm and very windy.  The high winds started brush fires all over the area.  One was a few blocks from my school.

Also in INDIANA! Southern Portion LoL   Highs in 90's EVERYDAY!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

YAY it is very cool today and kinda windy!  just LOVE it!

Last night however....due to EASTER yakkin at me sooooo long last night, I ended up getting caught in the rain!!! And it was not just RAIN, it was a downpour with heavy winds!

I WAS on my BIKE!!!!!!

I looked like a drowned rat!  Not to mention because of the downpour and the heavy winds I couldn't get my stupid bike to GO.  So I fell off my bike!  LOL  Good thing that pole was there to catch my fall!  ROFL  Just scraped my knee....ON the pole that caught me!  Stupid Pole!

well looks like you need or a car but I advise you to stear clear ofthe convertables as you may be out one day when it starts to rain and then you will wish you had brought that
As for your falling over well the sooner you get to sweadon and the snow the better as atleast then you not hurt your self

Serves You Right Sweetheart! You brought all that Cold Windy Rainy stuff to my window last night and almost blew my living room thru the bedroom and out the back door, (which faces South) 
 Warm EASTER-> :twak: <--Likes Cold clammy Sneeze weather.

Seriously skittlespc, , that would have been so funny, i wish i could been there to help you back up when you fell. My goodness, i haven't fell off a bike since the 1970's but then i haven't been on one much since then either.
Better wrap up tonight though, FROST!!! is being predicted, and i have once again ramped up my Furnace on HIGH!

I had my windows open and fan blowing last night!!  lol

And windows open all day.
