Don't ya know that "Windows" is at risk if you keep it in the default open position? :P

You didn't experience last winter's Blizzard up there where you are, we got 3 FEET of snow around Christmas, thats right, 3 FEET! You probably remember the Indiana National Guard having to rescue motorists stranded on I-64 over here between Evansville and Merengo. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, and as I recall, Easter, you loved every minute of it -- well perhaps with the exception of digging out your car.  :lol:

Snow in Indiana already???... eheh! I see Easter misses it so much that he's still living on last year's stock... he probably kept some in his deep freeze!!!  :tease:

Well, here is 8°C (46°F) right now at 10 am and the OIL furnace is on and this year, even trying to keep the living room and dining room CLOSED and almost sealed. I do have a kitchen and a tv room so that'll do for just little me trying to not burn my $$$.
But I'm enjoying myself still harvesting my tomatoes and drying them.... for winter comfort food! ...and ordering pepper seeds for next spring...
By next week, I'll start putting up the temporary winter shelter for the car. Do you use those??? ...a 11 x 20 foot metal frame, then a pre-shaped strong plastic "tent like" over it and all tied from the inside. We install every fall and dismount every spring! Saves a lot of shoveling and winter misery!

So that is what the weather is doing to us here in Québec at this time... but the trees are beautiful right now... reds, golds, browns and greens all at the same time and in 1-2 weeks time we'll spend days raking them off the ground and play in them with the kids then bagging them in orange bags to decorate for Halloween... and then send to recycling.... and wait for the snow to come......  :Yahoo:

Funny that you would mention that sweetest pea, in fact, i did store something in my freezer  :D that falls from the sky but it isn't snow, it is HailBalls. Couldn't resist scooping up those noisemakers from last seasons constant barrage of storms. [*Easter does a quick duck-under and look-around]
[*Then Easter quickly remembers this season is actually been Peaceful!]

Ahhhh Quebec, brings back nice cozy memories from my business travels a time back. Years ago on  arrival to Montreal some of my USA compadres got anxious while we were waiting for approval to pick up some vehicle shipments. You see we were waiting in the Lobby (Really nice one!) of a firm and the good folks were chatting away in French. I love it, lucky for me i selected to learn some french while in High School and not spanishyotta. I found the conversation refreshing while my compadres were intimidated from not knowing what was being said. I never gave in and told anyone my secret, but it was fun watching them squirm while i was pleasanty smiling to the ladies as they carried on their conversations. :D

Oh Yes, and now the weather, i'm having a nice Cold Beer (Weidemann) today, first one in ages, and enjoying the overcast cloudiness of free air conditioning.
The initial shock of realizing the onset of Fall is now over for me, 90's were very nice, but now i'm ready to see some snow fly. My downs comforters (3) are at the ready.

Your weather seems to be just like here.
The trees are in all beautiful colours, just before they fall off and cause a lot of work  :tease:

We have had a week with the most wonderful October weather, peaks up to about 19 C, at midday.

EASTER.... if I were you... I'd put them right back in the freezer in case you need them again in the near future. Those are precious but pretty vulnerable treasures!!! Maybe some time you might  have an indian summer and need to cool off with a Pepsi and hail in it??? (sorry, hail beer is not as good as hail pepsi!!!) :tease: I'm sure they don't serve those in Indiana's restaurants!!! ;-D

And Oooooooh!  soooooooo that was you that day in the lobby, eh????  I remember so well!!!! :lol:


DIE HARD... yep! I've seen your backyard and I believe you will have a lot of work pretty soon!!!  :lol: ...but make sure you roll in them... smell them... play with them  before you bag them.... I can't help it, the smell of fallen dead leaves remind me of my early childhood when we did'nt need toys to play... but nature provided plenty!  :)

I am disappointed that my Swede said that it doesn't really get alot of snow in Gothenburg.  SNIFF!!!

I LOVE snow!  hehehe   Well actually I just love it for a week or two, then it can go away!  hehehe

The first winter my Swede was in USA, he ran out in just his long pants on...no shoes or socks, no shirt, and rolled around in the snow!  LOL  My kids thought he was totally insane!  lol

We still have the windows open...but last night my Swede closed the bedroom one!  grrr Poor Tinkerbell got Cold!  LOL  hehehe  But after he was asleep and he didn't know, I opened them back up!  hehehe

Rained last night....still very cloudy and cool here.

If thats true, then i have a Perfect solutioon for you. Move a little south of where you are over here in Indiana. My area got a Blizzard with nearly 3 feet! of blowing snow last Christmas.  :tease:
