Been having problems for about 2 weeks now. My DSL went out one day and they got it back online. The next day or the day after TrendMicro said that I had a problem that they couldn't contain. (Don't remember if they called it a virus). It was RTKT_STITCH.D and the infected file was tdssserf.dll. The next day they said it was contained. Didn't think nothing of it. Now trend can't update because I don't have a internet connection. I can't seem to download anything or even go to certain sites. I thought it was with the DSL but have been on phone, chat and the guy came today and everything seems fine. He hooked up his computer with my connection and got to trendmicro.com and malwarebytes with no problem. He said something is holding them back.
I did turn off trends firewall and still had the problem. Don't know if I should uninstall Trend or not. Don't know what to do but do need my protection updated. I even tried a system restore and can't get past the part where you put in the date. Help!
BTW, I have XP and the problem is with firefox and IE.
