The European Commission has accused Microsoft of harming competition by bundling its Explorer web browser with its Windows operating system.
The commission said it had reached the preliminary view that the US software giant had undermined consumer choice and infringed EU rules.

As far as I know Microsoft allows its users to run other internetbrowsers than  Internet Explorer. I really can't see that Microsoft Internet Explorer is bundled with their very own product is a problem. I'm wondering if they don't have something more important to do down there in Bruxelles  :soapboax:

Look at it another way -- Microsoft provides a browser in order to provide the means for their customers to access the internet to obtain a browser by another vendor.
