The WinPatrol Firewall (formerly WinPrivacy) and WinAntiRansom forums were originally opened to help with the early development of these two programs, as offshoots of the original unofficial WinPatrol forum that we hosted for Bill.  The intent was to have one collective place where folks could test, comment on features/bugs, and have Bret reply, problem solve, inform, and update the releases as needed.

It has become apparent that many of the questions/problems that users have with these two products generally require one-on-one support (and are somewhat individual in nature), and that having these forums isn’t the most efficient method of providing timely input or help for the end users.  It has been agreed between Bret and the LandzDown Administrators that the time has come to close and archive both of those two forums, effective immediately.

Support for these products will now be provided exclusively by email support.  Send an email to support@winpatrol.com, and someone from Ruiware will contact you directly.

Due to the long history of support of and discussion about WinPatrol (and the volume of LandzDown members using or being familiar with it), that unofficial support forum will continue to remain open.

Although support for WinPatrol Firewall (formerly WinPrivacy) and WinAntiRansom is being handled via email, feel free to post information about the two programs in the General Software News, Updates & Discussions forum.
