10rand's HijachThis logfile

This will download HiJack This to your computer, choose "Save" and navigate to the folder where it´s saved and doubleclick upon it.
This is a complete installer that installs Hijackthis onto your computer to C:\Program Files\HijackThis and makes an entry in the start menu & allows you to have a shortcut on desktop as well.

I have updated Ad-aware definitions [SE R66 - 14.09.2005] and scanned my machine. Ad-aware has not detected any new infections.

I have HijackThis already installed on C:\ as a means to check if there are applications that have snuck into my pc without my knowledge. The log looks clean but please confirm as I'm not an expert [still a newbie LOL] in this area. Should I use the HijackThis from the link you provided and delete the old one. Here is my log from my old HJT. Thanks:

No, kepp the one you have, the above download instruction is just to make sure that HJT is installed in a proper location,ie program folder.Kept on the desktop or in the zip folder the backup files aren´t produced as intended and maybe cant be used if needed.

Your HJT-log is squeaky clean
