No harm in removing the suggested fixes (Be sure and disable Tea Timer while fixing with HJT, Likely to prevent allowing to do so)

I m not sure it will solve the problem however, Are you able to update Nortons without any trouble?

Have you tried manually downloading updates for Ad-aware ?

In addition toTea Timer, you also have MSAS running.  To disable while attempting an update:

   1. Right-click on the Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon in the system tray [it's the one with the red and yellow bulls-eye].
   2. Click on "Security Agents Status".
   3. Click on "Disable real-time protection".

Next right-click on the Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon in the system tray again to open Microsoft Anti-Spyware.

   1. Click on the Options menu and choose Settings.
   2. In the left pane column click on "Real Time Protection".
   3. Under Startup Options, uncheck "Enable (MSAS) Security Agents on startup (recommended)"
   4. Under Real-time spyware threat protection, uncheck and "Enable real-time spyware threat protection" (recommended).
   5. Click the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Finally, right-click on the MSAS icon in the system tray and select "Shutdown Microsoft Antispyware".

If that doesn't work -- for Ad-Aware, please do this:

Navigate to the Lavasoft folder:  C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal

Rename defs.ref to defsold.ref

Try the WebUpdate again. It should work for you then.

Take a walk through the "Security Garden" -- Where Everything is Coming up Roses!

May the wind sing to you and the sun rise in your heart.

Ah, that's what happens when I do something before enough coffee, but I think I may have found the problem.   What I saw at a quick glance at your AAW logfile is the MS Firewall.  You are using two firewalls and that is causing problems.  Since the MS Firewall is one-way, disable that and then try the updates again.
