WP confused by Macrium Reflect software
« on: November 22, 2016, 07:06:47 PM »
I have current paid version of Win Patrol.
I also use Macrium Reflect software to create backup images of my Windows 10/64 drives.
When Reflect starts a scheduled backup image, I always receive a Win Patrol message about a startup program not being needed any more.
I like such messages however the Reflect people explained that while the Reflect.exe isn't a startup program, Win Patrol thinks that it is. Reflect creates, then uses, and then removes some software to make their imaging occur.
Here is the WP message.
Fortunately this Win Patrol message does not interfere with the imaging process.
Do you have a way to have WinPatrol ignore Reflect?

see attached error msg.

I've seen that type of message with OneNote RunOnce files and haven't found a way around other than clicking OK.
