need to validate windows that my windows is not genuine
« on: July 14, 2012, 01:05:32 PM »
Hi,

User error is need to validate windows that my windows is not genuine

 I have a user HERE

Does anyone have a clue? Not sure how to proceed .

The only thing I see is as a possible source.

File Scan Data-->
File Mismatch: C:\windows\system32\sppobjs.dll[Hr = 0x80092003]

Did see some reference to this,

Download and install the latest IntelĀ® Rapid Storage Technology drivers.

From Here

Any advice would be welcome....

Joe

Hi, Joe.

The following was provided elsewhere by Noel Paton, who is knowledgeable in this area:

Quote
1) Click Start button.
2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
4) Type: net stop sppsvc   (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
8) Type: net start sppsvc
9) Type: slui.exe
10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.

Run MGADiag again, and post the report

If that isn't successful, it could be due to the installation of Vistalizator.  It may be as simple as running Vistalizator and restoring the original language for your computer, rebooting and re-validating at www.microsoft.com/genuine. Try this first. However if this does not work it may be more complicated to fix.

If none of the above help, have the OP register and post the problem at Sysnative in the (Windows 7 / Vista forum.  Either Noel or niermiro will be able to assist.

You're welcome, Joe.  Let us know if either solution works or if it is necessary to refer to Sysnative.  We can alert Noel & niermiro if the OP goes that route.
