Outlook contiues loading profile

Hi Everyone

I have reset my win 10 Pro Desktop computer.  Version 1709 build 16299.192.
I also did a reset on Win 10 Home Laptop computer version 1709 build 16299.194

I attempted to set up outlook on both computers put in my email etc, and all it does is says loading profile, let it run for 10 minutes. See attachment.
I have never had this problem before.

I am using Microsoft Office 365 version 1712  Build 8827.2148

In  Microsoft viewer Event ID 29 I have this     (The Store C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\name@bigpond.ost [s being re-pushed to the index for the following reason: newly created store. )

I have Office 2016 and Office 2013, not Office 365, although both 2013 and 2016 are "click to run".  Everything I'm finding appears to be related to instant search.   The only Microsoft support article I found "Applies To: Outlook 2016 Outlook 2013 Outlook 2010 Outlook 2007" and doesn't mention Office 365.

When you say you did a reset, did you have Windows reset  but keep your personal files?

I would try setting up a new profile. It does mean you’ll need to download your email again, so be ready for that to happen. Steps below are from here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Outlook-not-responding-stuck-at-Processing-stopped-working-freezes-or-hangs-5C313D04-64AF-4441-82D2-44E5A43EEE5A

Your profile stores a variety of settings that control how Outlook looks and feels. You can create a new profile and then add your email accounts to the new profile.

Close Outlook.

Choose one of the following:

* In Windows 10, choose Start. Type Control Panel and press Enter. Choose User Accounts > Mail > Show Profiles.

* In Windows 8, open the Apps menu, choose Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles.

* In Windows 7, choose Start > Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles.


Choose Add, and in the Profile Name box, type a profile name, and then choose OK.

Enter an email address and a password for the primary email account you use in Outlook and then walk through the steps to create the profile.

Once the profile is created, on the Show Profiles dialog, choose Prompt for a profile to be used.

Start Outlook and choose your new profile.

If creating a new profile solves your issue, you can return to the Show Profiles dialog and delete your old profile.

I followed your advice on how to change a profile.

Has worked like a charm ;)
Outlook is now working.
