Just did a video call with my sister.   Everything seems to be working ok on this end.   Ironically, she was having a first time issue with the screen going to sleep on her tablet during the call.  She kept having to touch it to bring it back.  So she's troubleshooting that now.

Solved. She had the tablet on battery power, so it was just a power-saver setting.  On second or third call now, and still working well.

I guess this disproves that old theorem that "insanity is repeating the same actions and expecting different results".

I'm sure that at least one of the time I tried to uninstall/reinstall I had also uninstalled the microsoft store app version.  I'm not sure what was different this last time.  Maybe it was just putting the restart in the right sequence.
