some details please
what version of windows and what sp do you have

and anti-virus/firewall and what anti-spyware?

is it all in the window folder or total used is that much?
do you download mp3's and video?

and when was the last time you ran a error check/scandisk/disk cleanup?

double click "my copmputer"
right click your drive and select properties
on the general tab, click "disk cleanup" and do it
then tools tab and click "error check" and do it
then "defrag" and do it

do you use ccleaner?
after doing ALL the above go here and read and do it !
http://www.bbusa.net/ghost1/ccleanersetup.html

and tell me how much space you have now ok?
