For the past 2 years I've been working between India and Bhutan. So many friends and family kept asking for info and pictures that I forgot to whom I'd told what, or which photos were sent to which person, so I recently started writing a blog, especially on the tiny Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan...

If anyone is interested in this fascinating place, please feel free to visit!

I'm currently in Oz for a couple of weeks to meet the grandson who was born while I was in India, but am heading back next week.

Regards to all,
Shax

Absolutely fascinating!  The finished water feature is going to be very impressive -- as was The Banyan.

Thank you for sharing.

Labour Inspectorate?   :police:

We give these guys hard-hats, plus safety belts and harnesses, then lecture them about using them. 5 minutes later they discard the lot and continue like that... :thud:

Just typical danish taste of humour ;). I can just imagine what would happen if I built up a scaffold like this one here  . It would be an "tourist attraction" within 10 minutes. But it is a good photo because it shows a bit about culture and people doing things different and simple in the other end of the world. Thanks for sharing! :)

Then you'd like this one when we were welding the roof trusses?
A bit dark, but I'm sure you get the picture...

Some great photo's there in your blog. I do like the background picture too!

sjb007 hasn't posted a link but LzD members will want to check out Thunderbyte.  In particular, take a peek at the "Other Links" page.  ;)

Thank you! :rose:

Excellent work, sjb007...I know so many friends that need to read and heed (see what I did there?) your blog page, but unfortunately, the ones who need it most are the ones who won't pay attention to it...however, I'll persevere and send out links to them!

Hi all - Just a quick post to say my site thunderbyte is no longer running, this is mainly due to my time being diverted elsewhere due to my voluntary role that I lead and my role in computers have fell by the wayside a little to say the least. If you have any links to thunderbyte on your site then you may wish to remove them to prevent any dead links. I would like to say thanks to everyone at LDZ for your support that you have provided here. Keep up the good work guys.

Cheers - Steve

This is a work in progress. My store website. I work on it as time permits.
