I do have a question...where do I start????

My question as a newbie know-nothing is where on your site to look for warnings about trouble with updates for various anti-virus, anti-malware, etc.  In the past, knowing about problems others are having has saved me from encountering the same issue.

Hi, Jann.

Unlike GW, our primary focus here is computer related.  Thus, discussions/reports vary based on the subject.  I'll provide a few examples:

• This discussion in the "Security Alerts & Briefings" forum, Microsoft Security Bulletin Release for November 2015 relates to issues from the recent security updates.
  
• Here is a topic in the "General Software News, Updates & Discussions" forum relating to a member's experience with the Windows 10 fall update:  First Major Update for Windows 10 Available Today.
  
• Members with specific issues, seeking general help (aside from malware removal) or pointing to issues they've seen elsewhere, have started topic in the "Computer Problems, Questions and Solutions!" forum.
  
• There is also the "Web News" forum which isn't limited to warnings.

Suggestion:  Since you're new here and likely not looking for old news/issues, you may want to click the "MARK ALL MESSAGES AS READ" link at the bottom of the forum home page.  That way, on your next visit, you'll see which forums/discussions have "new" posts and can check those.
