That year did seem to go by quickly.  I hope that you were able to 'make good, do good, and be good' for every one of those 365 days!  (And hopefully all of this attention does not embarrass you!  {ha ha})

So yes, face the future and make good use of every day that comes, but celebrate your blessings today!

I am taking the "responsibility" to keep the marshmallows and the smarties for my self! For the rest, let plodr decide.  I'm sure she will take the right decision!

Thank you everyone. This was a memorable birthday. We ate out in a restaurant for the first time in 4 - 5 months! Since restaurants can only seat 25% capacity, down from 50% a few weeks ago because of the spike in Covid-19 cases, my husband called for lunch reservations. We didn't want to have to wait outside to be seated because we are in the midst of a heat wave. I felt like a queen!

As far as the cake, I'm willing to risk a chocolate coma to have a slice or two of that fantastic looking cake. Those look like KitKat candy bars around the sides. I really like them and just finished eating a dark chocolate and mint KitKat bar.

Going out to eat in a restaurant was a nice treat!  It is a good thing we saved some of those KitKat candy bars for you.  :)
