120 second rule

Do we have to wait 120 seconds between posts? I kept getting this error.

Hi, BeeZee. 

Although we have the Stop Forum Spam add-on installed, a couple spambots managed to get through the registration process before the IP was added to the database.  As a result, they took advantage of the short time we had set for posts from the same IP and inundated the forum with spam posts. 

Unfortunately, there isn't a compatible add-on for custom edit times based on member group.

it is improbable that anyone will want to post more than once, especially in the lounge (games) section.
perhaps that's why it dried up. - the games can usually be played in seconds, not minutes.

The post time has been reduced to 60 seconds and an inquiry posted at the SMF forum asking if the old mod to customize edit times will be updated.

In the meantime, SpyDie is going to look at the code for the unsupported mod to see if he can customize it for our use.

We believe we have it figured out based on a custom mod that SpyDie created.  Decision on implementation delayed due to real-life issues.
