This has been happening for a couple of weeks now. When I compose and send an email, it sits in the Draft folder and doesn't send at all. The internet is littered with people making the same complaint. I'm not attaching files or pics, so it isn't that.

Anyone heard of a fix for this? It's caused me to be rejected for an international visa application now, and is driving me crazy!

ETA, my Location here is still listed as being Bangalore, India, but I'm actually back in Australia now.

Hi, Shax! Long time no see.  Aside from the email issue, I hope all is well.

I've occasionally had that happen using Outlook.com. When it happened, I was successful sending it from the drafts folder.  Have you tried that?

Hi, Corrine! Good to see you, too.

In the past, I had the option in the Draft folder to send from there, but that option is no longer available. All those emails are to India, and I don't know if they're being stopped for security reasons? I know that when I post to Houzz forums when I'm in India, my posts take 3 or 4 days to appear there, yet my posts from Australia appear instantly.

I am receiving emails fine, just can't send. My recent application for another 12 month visa to India was today rejected because I "failed to respond", but there are 8 of my responses sitting in the Draft folder. I've tried sending to my Gmail account, thinking I can forward from there, but they never arrive either. I've tried this from both my desktop PC and my laptop, so it's obviously a problem with Outlook.

Are you using Outlook via Microsoft Office, Outlook.com, or what is referred to as "New Outlook", available from the Microsoft Store? (Information about New Outlook setup here.)

Have you tried copying the draft, deleting the draft, and then creating a new email, pasting the previously created text in the new email?

I'm using Outlook.com, synced to my Gmail account. This problem does appear to only occur with Indian govt websites, ".gov.in", so I guess they're all blocked for some reason. I've checked my own "blacklist" of blocked sites, and nothing there.

Problem for me now is I'll have to make a 10 hour return trip to nearest visa office (Sydney) to apply in person. They won't even do it through the post!
