IMO, it is completely irresponsible for Google Chrome to end support for Windows Vista a year before the end of extended support (11APR2017)!  Chrome automatically updates so Windows Vista users who don't regularly visit tech sites may not even know that Google has left them vulnerable.

I have no problems ending support for XP as the hold-outs need to be prodded on to more modern operating systems, if not for themselves, but for others who may be exposed to their compromised and exploited XP systems.

But I am with Corrine when it comes to Vista. I think it should coincide with Microsoft's EOL support dates.

However, from a business standpoint, I do understand Google's position. Vista has less than 2% share of the global use, according to StatCounter. But still, with an estimated 1.4 billion Windows systems out there, 1.77% amounts to nearly 25 million users still using Vista. And if 54% of them are using Chrome, that is more than 13 million affected systems. Expending resources for such a [relatively] small number of users probably does not make good business sense.

But still, does supporting Vista involve that much more over what they already do for W7?
