The Yoxio.com free image hosting service will be closing down indefinitely, shortly after the 23rd December 2006. After this date any images that you have uploaded to Yoxio.com will no longer be available.

Please see the announcement at our website, www.yoxio.com , for further information, and to download a zip file containing all of your images if required.

Best regards,
Yoxio Management

Corrine,

or you just be left with the dreaded X

If you have a gmail account, its easy enough to use Google's Page Creator.

Oh boy, ouch, this is new territory for me...loosing a hosting site that I have used to host a few   images

I can re-host elsewhere, but how will those new links get pointed to where those images were originally posted...at a forum that doesn't permit editting after a wee bit of time?

And what is this Google Page Creator???

I'm Googling, I'm googling, this "Google Page Creator"

Corrine

I just discovered this last week.  Page Creator is essentially a web site creation tool that just happens to support image uploads.    It is important to note that you do NOT need to "publish" the site.

Looked at Page Creator...and might consider playing around w/ that in the future.  I got a better idea of what goes into these web design options while checking it out.

Gonna stick with PhotoBucket for now.

And thanks GR@PH;<'S, I now *get it* that those Yoxio smileys are <choke> going to be <tear falls> absent and gone <sobbing> forever.

Ah, what the heck!  I say viva-la new smileys!  :boat3:

Temmu

ah, yes, good ol' photobucket, been with'em for years... :gwave:
