This happened to a co-worker. Glad he caught it in time (and provided me with screenshots).

Wow! 220 websites related to this scam.  Thank goodness for Malwarebytes Browser Guard!

We found 21 more once we figured out they were using fake Booking(dot)com sites as well.
Airbnb is ignoring my questions and removed my call for victims from their Community platform.

Based on that, I'm not likely to recommend Airbnb.
