As we know SMF is very limited in what it can do but what do people think about jazzing the place up a bit with this SMF Mod so as to give the category's some nice images?

We went the route of installing custom themes, etc. years ago only to have things break with a forum software update.  As a result, we decided that the KISS approach seems to best fit our purposes.

Well what might have been buggy years ago may now function perfectly well and seeing as the version in the link was only created two years ago may be absolutely fine.

It was only a thought.
