So, I decided to convert one of my dual boots to 100% Linux. I was running my crunching/folding software on Windows and through some research, found that it may be more efficient on Linux.

Deciding on Ubuntu, I set out to install the BOINC Manager and client. Nope, all kinds of issues. I finally got it to install but it would not communicate with the client.

If anyone else is interested in crunching on Linux, I found this to be helpful and got it running!
