What is it, and what can it be used for?

Is it a scart to video / audio converter.

well it appears to have analog and s-video on one side but have no idea what the other side is so what does it convert to? humm could it be a monitor plug on the other side?

No sorry it is not a temperature detection device.

[Hint] I use one in my office but could quite easy use it any where due to its mobility (No wires).

some type of music player it kind of looks like a usb type storage device you can store music on, or a type of radio?
