Post by: winchester73 on March 13, 2013, 01:32:30 PM
SpywareBlaster can help keep your system secure.  It does not have to remain running in the background and works alongside the programs you have to help secure your system in the following ways:
SpywareBlaster provides protection for:

Internet Explorer (and browsers that use the IE engine) including:
          AOL web browser
          Avant Browser
          Slim Browser
          Maxthon (formerly MyIE2)
          Crazy Browser
          GreenBrowser
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Edge (Chromium)
Brave
Vivaldi
Netscape
Seamonkey
Pale Moon
K-Meleon

When a new version is released you can either:
(a) Download and install the new version of SpywareBlaster "over-the-top".
(b) Uninstall the old version of SpywareBlaster first, and then install a fresh copy of the new version.

Download the latest version here: http://www.brightfort.com/spywareblaster.html (http://www.brightfort.com/spywareblaster.html)

System Requirements:  SpywareBlaster works on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10. (32/64-bit)

Tip:  via siljaline, if you use a HOSTS file, see MVPS Hosts (http://www.landzdown.com/anti-spyware-software/mvps-hosts/)

Note that running SpywareBlaster sets the IE Restricted Zone to a non default setting. Reset to defaults - *HIGH* after every run.
