My name is Ray. I am a retired chemist/food scientist with over 50 years of experience in computing. I am a Scot's refugee and a 15-year Linux user, although I do run Windows 11 on a couple of more modern machines. Most of my Linux hardware is old stuff that won't run Windows any longer.
I do a lot of IT and networking for seniors in my neighborhood - when I can. The pandemic slowed me down and right now I am having some vision problems so I am sorta homebound these days.  :(
I'll do my best to participate and help when I can.
