Hi, G !! I can see just by a quick look at your logfile please have momas move HjT to its own folder

You need to give it its own folder. Go into C:\Program Files and make a new folder called HijackThis. Cut the HijackThis.exe file from its current location and paste it into your newly made folder, C:\Program Files\HijackThis.

This is important because if you fix stuff with HJT, it makes backups of the fixes. But if you have HJT in a temp folder, it will put the fixes there too, and they then run the risk of being deleted.

Also I see they not up to-date with internet explorer ...

MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)

Hi, Ghost.  You can tell the "Boss" that her machine is just fine.  Whenever her birthday is, I'm sure she'd appreciate some :rose: 's.

Simply put,

R0 is for Internet Explorers starting page and search assistant.
R1 is for Internet Explorers Search functions and other characteristics.

Thus, those R0's are merely a bit of clutter that you can remove with HJT if you wish.  Other than that, Sun Java needs to be updated (on your machine too).  For the benefit of others who are not aware of the need to uninstall old versions of SunJava, here's a link to illustrated instructions in my blog post:  http://securitygarden.blogspot.com/2006/09/sunflowers-and-sunjava-update.html .

To check if your systems are missing any other security updates or have insecure applications installed, visit http://secunia.com/software_inspector/ .  The Secunia Software Inspector runs through your browser with no installation or download required and does the following: Looks like both of you are in good health, Ghost.  :)
