Hi,
I am struggling with some viruses on my computer all of the sudden. I specifically can not do anything about mrofinu572...I was referred here by a post at pc magazine. The log for highjackthis for my computer was:

First things first, you need to update Java and Adobe!!! Security reasons, The simplest way to do this is go to, Secunia.com and run the Scan Online on the far left of the page just about half way down. Click Start Now, then enable thorough scan, it will give you the necessary links for the updates needed for your computer!! After which clean your temp. files and post a fresh HJT log file. Then our learned advisors will be able to help you. If yyou have any problems post back and I can help you with any of the above instructions or anyone else for that matter.

After updating SunJava, please download
Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/Deckard/dss.exe) to your
Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
- Close all applications and windows.
- Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
- When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
- Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and the extra.txt to your post. in your reply
I advise you to go into your Add/Remove folder and remove the java

After updating SunJava, please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) (http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/Deckard/dss.exe) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
- Close all applications and windows.
- Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
- When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
- Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and the extra.txt to your post. in your reply

Deckard's desktop scanner stops running as it begins to clean temporary files on my computer. What should I do instead?
Hi, AFLT. Nothing is showing in your logfile. Are you still receiving virus warnings?
Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune from http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/ (http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/) . Save it to your Desktop.
Run ATF Cleaner
- Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
- Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
- Click the Empty Selected button.
- Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
- Shutdown/restart the computer.
Follow the same instructions as before for Deckard's System Scanner. If you are still unable to run it, navigate to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis and right-click hjt.exe. Select "rename" and use something like AFLTsHJT.exe (being sure not to make it AFLTsHJT.exe.exe) and post a reply with a new log.
Post a reply with both Deckard's logs or the renamed HijackThis log.
