hi all,
yes another hjt log from ghost;-).
the owner wanted me to uninstall some progs that were on this machine and check to see if there were any infections. so ive cleaned up the progs and threw all the scans at it i have and all came up clean. the scans i used were avg av, avg as, defender, and superantispy. now its time for the pro's to look at the hjt log and tell me if there is anything that needs to be cleaned up.

One of the staff will come advise you with your log file but the pc has Adware MyWeb Search and
I recommend you uninstall the My Web Search via the Add/Remove Programs,
Scroll down and remove My Web Search from the list of installed programs
Note You may also want to uninstall any of the following items associated with FunWebProducts
My Web Search (Smiley Central or FWP product as applicable)
My Way Speedbar (Smiley Central or other FWP as applicable)
My Way Speedbar (AOL and Yahoo Messengers) (beta users only)

It also wouldn't be a bad idea to run the machine through the computer through Secunia to check for any missing security updates or insecure applications installed. Visit http://secunia.com/software_inspector/ . The Secunia Software Inspector runs through the browser with no installation or download required and does the following:
- Detects insecure versions of applications installed
- Verifies that all Microsoft patches are applied
- Assists you in updating your system and applications
Lastly, I suggest that you use ATF Cleaner and show your friend how it works. It is a simple way to get rid of the excess baggage.
Download ATF Cleaner by Atribune from http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/ (http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/) . Save it to your Desktop.
Run ATF Cleaner
- Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
- Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
- Click the Empty Selected button.
- Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
- Shutdown/restart the computer.

i cleaned up per your directions and ive been to secunia and all checked out ok..........finally.
i installed atf after i posted the last hjt log and it has picked up quite abit of stuff along with ccleaner;-)
