You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido.
Ewido manual updates (http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/)

Once the updates are installed close the program for now.

Then.......

Go here and download "EmptyTempFolders" : http://www.danish-shareware.dk/soft/emptemp/
Install the program and click "Options" and select "Predefined folders".
Checkmark :
C:\DOCUMENT AND SETTINGS\your account\LOCAL SETTINGS\Temp\
C:\DOCUMENT AND SETTINGS\all other accounts\LOCAL SETTINGS\Temp\
C:\DOCUMENT AND SETTINGS\your account\LOCAL SETTINGS\Temporary Internet files
C:\DOCUMENT AND SETTINGS\all other accounts\LOCAL SETTINGS\Temporary Internet files
C:\Windows\Temp
When you have done this, close the program for now.


Please download VundoFix.exe (http://www.atribune.org/downloads/VundoFix.exe) to your desktop.Open the EmptyTemp program and click the blue lightning to empty the contents in the preset folders.

Now run the Ewido program:
On the first alert, a window will open prompting you to take action. Checkmark "Remove" and "Perform action on all detections".
Now close ewido security suite.


Run this online virus scan:  TrendMicro (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/)

Copy the results of the TrendMicro scan and paste them here along with a new HijackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder and the Ewido report into this topic.

I know you mentioned to me last night that this seems very complicated and overwhelming, but it isn't as bad as it looks. 

Please just take your time, and print the instructions out.  Take it one step at a time. 

Diehard is very good at explaining things in laymen's terms.  He can help walk you thru this.

I am sorry that I won't be on messanger with you as you do this, to help walk you thru it.  I would have liked to, as I did when you downloaded your programs, updated, and ran your first hjt log.  You did GREAT when you did all that.

Just relax and just go step by step thru the instructions and you will be fine.

I know you can do it!

Hi, Petalina.  Please don't worry if you have questions along the way or if you feel like you are stuck.  You can always come here with any questions or concerns.  Never worry that they may sound "silly".  The only way to learn is by asking questions.

I remember when my son had a problem with his computer.  SpyDie had provided the instructions, which I printed out and put a check mark as I went through each step.  It worked just fine and I am sure you will do just fine also.

    Well,I no longer have the virus.A friend of mine came over
and fixed it for me.Ha!!! I cheated by havin someone else do it but it
was that or stay stressed.As slow as I am in not being able to work on it
all at once like reguler people,the linger and wait messes with my
patience and my body pays for it.

Hopefully your friend followed something like what Die Hard suggested ... otherwise, you'll have some problems still.
