... as twenty years ago today Magnum XL-200 (http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/rides/coasters/magnum/index.cfm) opened for the first time and has since given over 25 million awesome coaster rides. I make up about 2,000 (0.008%) of 'em, so I guess I need to ride more, eh?
Happy Birthday Magnum!!! See you in 10 days :D

Goodness me....you are brave.... :Hammys pint:
There is no way I would get on one of them..... :sos:
I wonder how much time you have spent in line waiting ?
I am less than 150 miles from there and haven't been there in about 20 years. I don't think my old body could take it anyway.

To think I've only heard about CP for 6 years and the rest of Aaron's family has had to listen . . . ummmm, has shared in Aaron's love of CP all these years.
Happy Birthday, Magnum!

Hmmm ..... 10 days, let me see .... that's about May 17th!
I thought that Cedar Point was in Ohio, not Idaho! :hysterical:
:blowout: Happy Birthday Magnum...been there, done that and LOVED IT!!! :mitch: Was a real thrill for me and my eldest grandson, but waiting in line was hot & humid the day we chose in July 1999! NOT a perfect Deb Day. :hysterical:
oh no no no not I, I am scared of heights, however I will do the big ferris wheel but it is not near as fast as that coaster. Wow a big happy b-day! And have a fabulous time riding it.
speaking from aviation experience...
it's something that one gets used to.
a sudden loss in altitude becomes routine after a while.
but get in a small plane after a long hiatus and...
every little bump in the air becomes, well, interesting!
(that being said, i'll not be roller coastering any time soon...)
aaron, do you have a jacket with a 2000 ride patch? i would! :D
Well, ten days is today so I am willing to bet Aaron is in line to a coaster right now. I am about 45 minutes away from Cedar Point and the weather is not looking to promising over here. Hope you are having better over there Aaron.
Enjoy!
Aaron didn't have to wait in line. He was the first to pick his favorite seat: Magnum fans pay for season-opener bragging rights (http://www.sanduskyregister.com/articles/2009/05/16/front/1350580.txt). Way to go, Aaron!!!
Congrats on getting the winning bid Aaron!
:blowout: Impressive...I know you had a blast! :look: "I love the air time," he said. "That's one of my favorite things about it -- air time, air time, air time." Yepper, that is the thrill! Congrats, nice way to raise money for a GOOD cause.
Here's Aaron! http://www.pointbuzz.com/Photos/Photo.aspx?id=7319 (2nd car, 1st seat on the left :flowers: )
Corrine,
I see Aaron had his Landzdown Badge on :mitch: :cheers2:

But did he have the cake and ice cream before or after riding Magnum?
hopefully, after.
