Title: Do you trust your Bank's ATM?
Post by: Eric the Red on June 04, 2009, 10:36:06 PM
Is it time to go back to keeping your money under the mattress? See this article (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/06/03/atm_trojans/) from The Register.

I never use an ATM for various reasons, and if I want to do any banking then I go into the Bank and talk to them in person. Its not the bank I do not trust it is the people who have ruined them that I do not. And these ones will get away with the fact theat they have ruined the lives of millions worldwide through their greed, but what do I know :2cents:

I've never trusted the atm since that story a few years ago of the atm programmer who took an extra 5quid off any witdrawal. He was intelligent enough to not get detected for a few years - he'd only take the 5 if the amount requested was over 10, and if no printout was requested.

I've always asked for a printout ever since...
